Uniform

Wearing a uniform is a badge of pride, creates an identity for a school and is an important part of being a school student. We believe that school uniforms make schools safer for students, create a "level playing field" that reduces socioeconomic disparities, and encourage children to focus on their studies rather than their clothes.A case study attributed the following noticeable outcomes to the use of uniforms:

  • Fewer absences and truancies
  • Fewer referrals for behaviour problems
  • Fewer suspensions and expulsions
  • Better grades, and in some cases, significantly higher achievement

 

The school uniform set includes the following:

  • Female primary students (Grades 1-5): a skirt, a waistcoat, a knitted sweater, a blouse and a bow);
  • Male primary students (Grades 1-5): a waistcoat, a knitted sweater, a pair of trousers, a shirt and a tie);
  • Female secondary students (Grades 6-12): a waistcoat, a knitted sweater, a pair of trousers, a blouse and a bow);
  • Male secondary students (Grades 6-12): a waistcoat, a knitted sweater, a pair of trousers, a shirt and a tie).

 

The PE kit includes the following:

  • a pair of sports trousers
  • a T-shirt
  • a track jacket
